1.   Hand washing: Silk garments should ideally be hand-washed in cool water with a mild detergent specifically designed for delicate fabrics.
2.   Avoid Agitation: Do not wring or twist the silk fabric to remove excess water as this can damage the fibres. Instead, gently squeeze the water out or roll it in a towel to absorb moisture.
3.   Drying: Lay the gown flat on a clean, dry towel to air dry. Avoid hanging silk garments to dry as this can stretch the fabric.
4. Ironing: If ironing is necessary, use a low heat setting (silk setting) on your iron and iron the gown inside out while it's still slightly damp to avoid damaging the fabric.
5.   Storage: Store silk garments in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Avoid hanging them for long periods as this can cause stretching; instead, fold them neatly.
6.   Stain Removal: Address stains promptly with a gentle silk-safe stain remover or spot clean as soon as possible.
